Global Coaching Marketplace Platform — Pre-Launch / Waitlist Phase
Signal Life Coaching Ltd ('Signal', 'we', 'us', 'our') is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information transparently and securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you visit our website, join our waitlist, register for our pre-launch webinar, or interact with our advertising. This policy also describes how we will handle data once the full Signal Life Coaching marketplace platform goes live.

Signal Life Coaching Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate a global online marketplace that will connect users with independent life coaches. 2. Data Controller
Signal Life Coaching Ltd acts as the data controller for personal information collected through the Signal website, waitlist sign-up forms, LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, and related advertising channels.
3. Personal Information We Collect
During our current pre-launch phase, the personal information we collect from you may include:
- Full name (first name and last name)
- Email address
- Country or region
- Information you choose to share when contacting us
- Marketing communication preferences
If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form via one of our LinkedIn advertisements, LinkedIn passes us your name, email address, and country/region as pre-filled by your LinkedIn profile.
Automatically collected information may include:
- IP address
- Device and browser type
- Pages visited and time spent on the website
- Cookies and tracking technology data (see Section 13)
Once the full Signal Life Coaching marketplace platform launches, we will collect additional information including account login details, booking and session information, customer support communications, and (for coaches applying to join the marketplace) professional certification and training documents. The current Privacy Policy will be updated at that point to reflect those new data flows.
4. Payment Information
During the pre-launch phase, we do not collect any payment information. When the full marketplace launches, payments will be processed securely through a regulated third-party payment provider. Signal Life Coaching Ltd will not store credit card numbers or full payment details directly.
5. How We Use Personal Data
We use your personal data to:
- Add you to our pre-launch waitlist and send you waitlist communications
- Invite you to our Founding Coaches Webinar (Wednesday 29 July 2026)
- Send you launch updates, product information, and related marketing communications about Signal Life Coaching
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and improve our website
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

9. Data Retention

- Waitlist data: until the Signal Life Coaching platform fully launches plus 24 months, or until you request deletion, whichever is sooner
- Marketing communications data: until you unsubscribe or 24 months of inactivity
- Website analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default retention)
- LinkedIn advertising data: in accordance with LinkedIn's own data retention policies
- Customer enquiry records: up to 24 months after our last interaction
After these retention periods, your personal data will be deleted or anonymised, unless we are required by law to retain it for longer.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data
- Right to restrict processing — to limit how we use your data

12. Marketing Communications
By joining our waitlist or registering for the Founding Coaches Webinar, you consent to receive marketing communications about Signal Life Coaching, including webinar invitations, launch updates, and related product information. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or by emailing info@signallifecoaching.com. Unsubscribing will not affect any service-related communications (for example, confirming a request you have made).
14. Independent Coaches (Future Marketplace)
When the full Signal Life Coaching marketplace launches, coaches on the platform will operate as independent professionals and will act as separate data controllers in respect of information you share with them directly during sessions. Signal Life Coaching Ltd is not responsible for how independent coaches handle personal information shared with them directly.
15. Children's Privacy
The Signal Life Coaching website, waitlist, webinar, and (when launched) the marketplace platform are intended only for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@signallifecoaching.com and we will delete the information promptly.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Signal Life Coaching Ltd may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updated version will be posted on our website with a revised 'Last Updated' date. Material changes will be communicated directly to active waitlist members via email.
