What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used or measure our advertising. We only use advertising cookies if you say yes, and you can switch analytics off at any time.
Your choice
Analytics cookies are on unless you switch them off. UK law allows cookies used only to count visits and improve a website without asking first, as long as we tell you and you can opt out. Marketing cookies are different: we only use them if you click "Accept all" or switch them on, and "Reject all", which also switches analytics off, is as easy as "Accept all". You can change your mind at any time: . If you switch something off, we remove the cookies we set for it.
Necessary (always on)
These keep the site working and secure. They do not track you for advertising.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| signalCookieConsent | Signal (stored on your device) | Remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page. | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
| authStateData, slc_auth, slc_role, slc_onboarding | Signal | Keep you signed in to your Signal account and send you to the right dashboard. | Until you sign out |
| signal:currencyPreference | Signal (stored on your device) | Remembers the currency you chose for showing coach prices, if you choose one. | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
| Session notes | Signal (stored on your device) | Small notes that make the site work during a visit, for example showing a "Back to Signal for Business" link. | Until you close the browser tab |
| Stripe cookies | Stripe | Only on payment pages. Used by Stripe to process payments securely and prevent fraud. | Set by Stripe, see the Stripe cookie policy |
Analytics (on unless you switch it off)
Google Analytics shows us how many people visit, which pages they read, which website or advert brought them here, and the rough country and type of device. It helps us improve the site. Google acts for us: we have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, so this data is not used for advertising. To opt out, open Cookie settings and switch Analytics off, or click "Reject all".
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart so we can count visitors. It does not tell us who you are. | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_XHD3LGC993 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit, so pages viewed in one visit are counted together. | Up to 2 years |
Marketing (only if you accept)
The LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel tell us how well our LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram adverts work. Some of these cookies are set by LinkedIn or Meta on their own websites, so they decide how long those last.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| li_fat_id, li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, ln_or | LinkedIn (Insight Tag) | Tell us which LinkedIn adverts brought people to our site and whether they then got in touch, and let us show our adverts on LinkedIn to people who have visited. We see totals only, never who you are. | From 1 day to 1 year, depending on the cookie |
| _fbp, _fbc, fr | Meta (Meta Pixel, for Facebook and Instagram) | Tell us which Facebook and Instagram adverts brought people to our site and whether they then signed up or got in touch, and let us show our adverts on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited. We see totals only, never who you are. | Up to 90 days |
