Signal Life Coaching Ltd Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Signal Life Coaching Ltd ("Signal", "we", "us") website and platform. By accessing or using Signal, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Signal Life Coaching

Signal is a global online coaching marketplace connecting users ("Clients") with independent coaches ("Coaches") for personal and professional development sessions. Signal does not provide therapy, clinical services, legal advice, financial advice, or medical services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Signal.

3. Your Account

Users must provide accurate information, maintain account confidentiality, and notify Signal of any unauthorised access. Signal may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Coaching Services

Coaches are independent contractors and not employees or agents of Signal. Signal does not control how coaches deliver services, does not guarantee outcomes, and is not liable for coach advice or performance. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, medical care, or professional legal or financial advice.

5. Payments & Platform Fees

Payments are processed securely through the platform's payment provider. Clients may purchase:

• Individual coaching sessions
• Introductory ("Taster") sessions
• Session bundles offered by coaches

Pricing is set by each coach. Signal retains a 10% platform service fee from coach earnings for sessions booked through the platform. Coaches may also purchase optional featured profile placement to increase visibility. Featured placement does not guarantee bookings.

6. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the session are non-refundable. If a coach cancels a session, the client will be offered a rescheduled session or full refund.

Coaches and clients may leave Signal at any time, for any reason, by emailing info@signallifecoaching.com. There is no notice period, no exit fee and no minimum term. We will remove a departing coach's profile from client search within two working days of the request. Sessions already booked will be honoured or refunded to the client, as the coach prefers, and any fees already earned will be paid in the normal way.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not harass or abuse others, use the platform for illegal purposes, share harmful content, record sessions without consent, or misrepresent identity. Signal may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform branding, design, and materials belong to Signal Life Coaching Ltd. Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or resell any part of the platform.

9. Disclaimer

Signal provides a technology platform connecting coaches and clients. We do not guarantee outcomes or improvements from coaching sessions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signal is not liable for indirect or consequential damages and is not responsible for the actions or advice of coaches. Total liability is limited to the amount paid through the platform in the previous 12 months.

11. Global Users

Signal operates internationally. By using the platform you acknowledge that data may be processed outside your home country and that coaching regulations vary by jurisdiction.

12. Termination

Signal may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, misconduct, or non-payment. Users may terminate their account at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in English courts.

14. Marketplace Role of Signal

Signal provides a technology platform that allows coaches and clients to connect. Signal is not a party to the coaching relationship between coach and client.

15. Featured Profile Advertising

Coaches may purchase optional featured profile placement within the platform. Featured placement improves visibility but does not guarantee enquiries or bookings.
